Nivea Express Hydration Primer Review *NON SILICONE BASED YAAAAY*

I tweeted that I was looking for a primer that wasn't silicone based as I'm allergic to silicone and makes me break out in a rash. I was recommended this primer by @LaurasHaven. I'd seen it on tv before so decided to give it a shot! It was also on offer in my local chemist for €4 and sure ya couldn't go wrong for €4!

MAC Satin Lipstick 'Rebel' Swatches & Review

Whenever I saw anyone asking for MAC lipstick recommendations Angel and Rebel were always mentioned A LOT. Making them one of my top wish list products. Luckily for me, I managed to score Angel in a blog sale not long ago for around €12 including shipping which is a pretty amazing deal considering it was barely used!
When I received my box of goodies from a giveaway I won (I know regular readers are probably sick to death of hearing me go on about it in so many posts! SORRY. If you haven't seen my unboxing and want to see what other goodies I got you see them here) and saw this lipstick in it I let out a scream 'YES!' and did a little happy dance while my Dad looked at me like I was crazy..

Anyway its quickly become one of my favourite lipsticks and I love wearing it to brighten up a dull all black outfit.

Lancome Hypose Mascara Review & Photos

I've always heard great things about Lancome's Hypnose Mascara, I was even recommended to try it by my neighbour but I was put off by the price tag! I'm very particular about mascaras and didn't want to spend around €27 on a mascara that I didn't like so when I received a sample of it as a prize I was delighted!

                                                           £22 here

Now this is just the sample packaging, the actual mascara looks like this:

Essie Chincilly

So a while back I won a box of goodies in a giveaway (you can see everything here) and one of the prizes was this polish from Essie. Now if I'm honest, this is probably not a colour I would pick out myself, so I'm glad Erica included this as I actually love it!

BLOGGER NEEDS A LIKE BUTTON - my like/dislike button

Hey guys so I just wanted to write this quick post to let you know I do have a like/dislike option at the end of my posts.
I know not everyone comments on all the posts they read. I know when I'm reading some posts I just have nothing to say even though I liked the post. Leaving 'great post' can seem repetitive and well lets be honest a little lame so sometimes I just don't bother commenting.
I tweeted tonight during the #bbloggers chat that I wish blogger had an official like button and I got a lot of tweets from other bloggers agreeing and a lot of RTs/Favourites.
Everyone said pretty much the same as I've said above. Not everyone has time to comment and not everyone has something to say!
I don't understand how blogger hasn't added a like button. I know you can G+1 it & like it on facebook but it would be nice to have an official like button where bloggers can know which posts are popular. Just because someone views a post, it doesn't mean they've enjoyed it and without comments its hard to judge!

So.. onto the point of this post.
I DO have a like/dislike button and I just wanted to ask if any of you read any future posts, pleeaasse can you tick one? As far as I know its completely anonymous but that's no excuse to go disliking every post because you hate me (BE NICE GIRLIES). If you do dislike a post I would reaaallly appreciate it if you could leave me a comment letting me know why? Or if you'd prefer to be anonymous you can go to my Ask.Fm (here and also linked in the sidebar in the Ask A Q icon) and leave me some feedback. But I'm hoping you wont dislike them!

Anyway that's all I wanted to say!

Urban Decay Loose Pigment Eyeshadow in 'Goddess'

I'm usually not a fan of pigments as I think they can be messy and cause a lot of fallout (especially after an incident where I spilled half a pot of a dark grey/black pigment all over my white bedsheet) but a while ago I picked up this Urban Decay pigment in Goddess because I thought the colour was gorgeous and that it was 'jazz up' (I can't believe I'm using that word, I was going to say spruce up though so be thankful I didn't!) a smokey eye.

Urban Decay Pigment in Goddess €17.50

Penneys Coral Cross Body Bag

AHHHH I'M SO EFFING EXCITED ABOUT THIS BAG!!
The minute I saw it I grabbed it and felt like dancing around the shop.

I apologise for the awful photos, I took these at night because I just wanted to get this post up so if any of you liked the bag you could go get it too before they're gone!
The photos just don't do this bag justice! If you're in Penneys/Primark, keep an eye out for it and just have a look at it yourself!

Yes you're reading that right NINE EUROS?!!

I'm not sure if you can see the shape of the bag correctly in these photos, its hard to photograph the shape!
When you lift the 'flap' its shaped like a tote bag with the zip at the top.
Which is very handy for me as I stuff my crossbody bags full then when I go to take one thing out everything else on top of it falls out. At least with this, nothing will fall out as its all at the bottom of the bag!

The colour of this reminds me a lot of the Rebecca Minkoff bags. This bag comes in a beige/cream colour and also a black.
I think the colour will be perfect to liven up all black outfits and will be gorgeous in the summer!
I wish they had these in other colourful colours as well, I'd buy them all!

Smashbox Soft Lights Highlighter in 'Shimmer'

As I mentioned in one of my previous posts about the Smashbox Blush Rush blusher in Radiance, I ended up buying quite a lot of the Smashbox products the makeup artist at my local counter tried on me. This highlighter being one of them. Before this, I'd never used a highlighter before (I know shock horror). Now, I don't think I could complete my makeup without it!

How To Make a Ring (That is Too Big) Smaller to Fit Your Finger

Hi guys so I wasn't really sure what to call this post hence the long title but its exactly what it says it is.
I have quite small hands and fingers which can sometimes be a problem when buying rings online in particular. I recently ordered a one size fits all ring on eBay and found that it was just slightly too big, nothing major but it slid off my finger easily.
But luckily, I found a solution and now it stays on my finger perfectly.

I'll include photos at the end!

Essence Twilight Saga Blush 'Renesmee Red'

This colour looks scarily red. You may think 'ahh c'mon Emma I'd look like a clown'.
I thought the same!
I actually LOVE this blush!

Feelin' Dotty - Red and White Nail Art

I was feeling a bit bored today so I decided to try some nail art as doing my nails always seems to relax & entertain me!
Now, It is a little messy as I literally did this in about 10 minutes and took it off afterwards but you get the idea!

I painted my nails red and white alternating between the two. The red colour is OPI Red Lights Ahead..Where? and the white is just a generic no name brand. I need to get a good white nail polish.

To do the dots, you can use a dotting tool that you can buy online or in a store but I just used a hair clip (like below). I opened out the hair clip to about a 90 degree angle and dipped one end into the polish and dotted the polish on my nails.

Easy and cheap! I just used nail polish remover to clean off the bobby pin afterwards so I can use it again for more nail art!

I think this would be great as a fun valentines nail look, instead of the typical hearts all over your nails.
You can also change up the colours to whatever you want. I've seen a really nice black and light pink one!

Smashbox Blush Rush in Radiance aka HOLY CRAP IT'S HOT PINK

I for one am a huge blusher girl. I wear it every single day and can't NOT wear it.
I think without it my face looks flat, sickly and dull.
It immediately brightens up your face and adds a bit of colour to your cheeks.
Every time I visited my local Smashbox counter I admired this particular blush but never considered buying it as it was so bright but I still thought it was gorgeous.

While buying a Smashbox foundation (review here btw) the lovely lady at the counter decided to go ahead and give me a mini makeover with a lot of other products (in the end I bought most of them!) including this blush. When I saw her pick it up I nearly ran out the door but once she showed me in the mirror I was impressed!

Essence Lipliner in Red Blush (08)

I bought this lip liner on a whim over a year ago when I needed a red lip liner FAST. Of course I didn't want to spend a lot of money because I never wore red lipstick..

Steal Her Style: Cara Delevingne

As one of the biggest models at the moment,  its not surprising that Cara Delevingne has got some serious style. She always seems to look amazing. Then again, put the girl in a black bag and she'd rock it.

Unfortunately not all of us can afford top designer clothes but that doesn't mean we can't have similar outfits to the stars.
I've taken one simple look that I absolutely love on Cara and found alternatives so you too can rock the look..

Keep reading to see how to recreate the look!..

GOSH Velvet Touch Eyeliner in Ocean Mist

This is probably the very first eyeliner I ever bought and I still have it (that's probably disgusting actually..)
I still love it.

What's In My Makeup Bag

Sorry for such dark photos, I took them at night, but I figured because they don't need to show much detail etc that it wouldn't matter too much!

I keep this makeup bag on my dressing table beside all my other makeup organisation. Inside it, I keep the products I wear basically everyday. If I'm staying over at a friends I throw this bag into my purse and it has everything I need for the next day.

The bag is from Lancome and I got it as a prize from Erica's (Abundance of Erica) giveaway!

So let's jump in!

Essence Long Lasting Eye Pencil in C'est La Vie (05)

I love this eyeliner. Other than my black eyeliner this is the one I probably use most often. PLUS I don't just use it as a liner.

eBay Jewellery Haul

 I LOVE costume jewellery.
To me, its 'disposable' jewellery. Meaning, I won't keep it forever.
Also, I like to wear it out on nights out etc and to places where it could get broken or lost.
Because of this, I don't like to spend a lot of money on it.
Which is why I love eBay for costume jewellery. It is literally soooo cheap and a lot of the time its free p&p too!
Granted, it is coming from Hong Kong/China so you have to wait a few weeks for it but its worth it once you see how cheap the jewellery I got was!
I'm all for supporting local, small businesses but some take the absolute piss with over charging. I saw two jewellery websites have the EXACT SAME necklace I bought below. One was charging £14 the other £7. The only other place I was able to find this necklace was eBay.. for 60p (around 70c).

Because obviously none of these are real gold/silver I'd recommend giving the rings a quick coat of clear nail polish before you wear them to prevent them tarnishing or turning your fingers green!
I coated mine when I opened the packaging (except the wings one, I forgot and its turned slightly pink) and left them overnight to dry!
Anyway enough talking, lets get onto the haul!

Essence Breaking Dawn Collection: Highlighter/Shimmer Powder in Bellas Secret (01)

As much as I love my expensive high end makeup, I still love to use cheaper high street brands like Essence because it really is decent quality for a cheap price.
When I swatched this highlighter on my arm its like the heavens opened up and the angels began to sing... ok maybe I'm exaggerating SLIGHTLY but this is a pretty damn good highlighter!!
