Steal Her Style: Lana Del Rey

I absolutely love this dress on Lana. I think she pulls it off so well. Peter pan collared dresses seem to be everywhere these days, i have yet to own one though! Im not sure if they'd suit me to be honest!
I searched high and low for this particular dress and found this dress that looked similar. I think its a nice spin off from the dress Lana is wearing.

I hope you enjoy seeing these kinds of posts, I certainly enjoying researching and writing them! If you do enjoy them then please do give me a follow ;)

Steal Her Style: Whitney Port

Whitney Port looks gorgeous, put together yet still cansual in this jeans and vest combo. The red flats give this rather plain outfit a pop of colour. This is a great idea if you're outfit is plain and you want to spice it up a bit. You can add a colourful scarf, bag or as Whitney did, a pair of colourful shoes! Simple yet effective.
*I'll link each item individually at the bottom of the post.

My favourite website to buy makeup and beauty products??

Hey so I just wanted to share one of my favourite websites to buy makeup/nail polishs etc from.
Now if, like me, you're irish and live in a small town, you'll know its pretty hard to find certain brands.
Now luckily, I have found a decent website (not one of those iffy ones) that has brands such as...
Smashbox, Urban Decay, Stila, Sleek, Too Faced, Laura Mercier, Bobbi Brown, OPI, China Glaze, Essie and loads more! (Of course you dont just have to be Irish to use this website, they do ship internationally but you'll have to check on the website if your country is included.)

Ive bought off them before so can guarantee they are safe. Plus, shipping in Ireland is only €2. BARGAIN!
They're having a clearance sale at the moment which is definitely worth checking out, ive had my eye on a few things myself!

The website is

Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream - Medium

Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector is a sheer coverage, daily all-in-one blemish balm cream.
It boasts that it:
-Blurs imperfections
-Provides sheer coverage
-Softens lines
-Makes your skin look more luminous and smoother
-Contains SPF 15
Overall, I really did like it this product and honestly wish I could continue to use it. Unfortunately it just doesnt agree with my skin!
I have pretty clear skin so just wanted a little colour and a sheer coverage to even out my skintone. I used this for a few weeks and (just my luck) it broke me out.
I have very dry skin which can be slightly sensitive to certain products. These products break my skin out in dry patches (and red patches of eczema).
After using this BB cream for a few weeks I got very angry red patches of dry skin, almost like a rash (eczema).
I loved the look of this product on my skin and was really upset that I couldnt continue to use it.
Luckily my friends also love this, and are always asking if they can use some of it when we're getting ready to go out so at least someone is getting some use out of it!
I would definitely recommend trying this product, especially if you dont usually have reactions to products. It is perfect for everyday wear when you dont want to wear a foundation and want a more natural look. It doesnt look cakey and actually makes it look like you have amazing skin!
The colour I got was medium, I probably could have gone for light as I'm VERY pale (thank you Irish weather) but got away with medium. Personally I dont think it looked orange as I didnt apply a lot to my face, it just gave me a little bit of colour, making my skin look healthier. Ive swatched the medium BB cream on my arm below, just to give an idea of the colour.
If you've tried the Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream, then please do leave a comment and let me know how you got on with it! Or if you've tried other Blemish Balms then let me know what you thought it them because I do want to try a few more in the hope that one will agree with my stubborn skin!

The Dangers of Fake MAC Cosmetics?

If you've bought or are thinking about buying 'MAC' cosmetics from someone online or in person or anywhere except a reputable store then I would highly recommend reading this..

So I decided to do a post on something that I feel strongly about. I know a lot of people have done posts on this but at the end of the day, the more awareness it gets the better! What am I talking about? Fake MAC cosmetics!
I really dont know where to start with this topic to be completely honest! There is so much I could say about this subject but I'll try to keep it short and sweet!

Ready To Wear New York Lipgloss - 'Bare Pink' Review

This is quite possibly the most amazing lipgloss I've ever had. Its not sticky, thick, gloopy or greasy. It feels moisturising on my lips and I dont get that dry lips feeling I get after it wears off like other lipglosses I've used.

''these formulas enhance and compliment your lips.
While the high percentage of shiny polymers gives it a lurex or plastic shine, these formulas also contain bilberry seed oil and arctic cloudberry seed oil along with other fine ingredients and help hydrate lips. Results in beautiful lips with a bright shine.'' (taken from an eBay description)

'Bare Pink' is a very natural pink colour which I think would be perfect over any pink lipstick that you want to tone down a little (I do this a lot with some of my overly pink lipsticks).
Ive taken a quick swatch photo of it below. Excuse the crap quality, it was dark outside when I took the photo so I had to use the flash. I would have taken a photo of it on but I cut the side of my lip and I've got a scab and I really didnt want to take a photo of my gross scar, you'll have to put up with my arm for now!

The one thing I'm not a huge fan of is the packaging. I mean its decent enough but I do think it looks a little bit cheap (Im not sure of the actual price but I'll explain about that in a minute). On the back of mine the information is a little crooked and I'm dying to straighten it! Im a bit anal about things like that haha.

Other than the packaging I really dont see any other flaws with it at the moment and I'd definitely like to buy some more BUT I have  no clue where to buy them? Ive googled it and so on but the only place I could find them was eBay. Hence the reason why I've no clue how much they normally cost. (I was personally sent mine from a competition.) If anyone has seen them anywhere else or know where they are sold I'd really appreciate it if you could comment and let me know.

I have linked a seller here who sells them and other 'Ready To Wear' cosmetics if any of you are interested. The seller is selling them for $13.00 each I think so its about €10.

You can also get a set of 6 for $23.00 with free shipping from this seller which I think is a bargain! You get 3 lipglosses and 3 lipliners but theres only 1 left so ya snooze ya lose haha.
