Urban Decay: The Feminine Palette Swatches & Review

Urban Decay is probably my favourite brand for eyeshadows, not only are they amazing quality but the palettes are always gorgeous and such good value.
For Christmas, my momma was kind enough to include this beauty in my stocking.
P.S check back on Monday to see what other palette was included in my stocking ;)
I already have the preen palette (review here) so I was delighted to add this baby to my new collection! That's right, I'm starting a UD Palette Collection.

I love these little palettes, they're gorgeous and very handy for traveling (not that I ever actually travel!)

Urban Decay Feminine Palette

Now I'm pretty sure these are the OLD feminine palettes. Recently Urban Decay came out with new Feminine, Fun and Dangerous palettes, in little zip bags with a lipgloss instead of a primer potion and eyeliner pencil. I think the colours are also different.
Honestly, I prefer the packaging of these older ones, and I also prefer the primer and eyeliner to the lipgloss.
WHY WOULD YOU RUIN SUCH A GOOD THING URBAN DECAY?!
I don't think you can find these on UrbanDecay.com or Debenhams.co.uk or wherever you buy Urban Decay but I know they are still available on many websites like FragranceDirect.co.uk, ebay.com etc.
You can find them, you just need to look! Plus they're a lot cheaper now!

Anyway lets forget about the newer palettes and focus on this one.

Ugh I ADORE this packaging. The shiny lilac and the feathers and flowers around the edge is just beautiful!
These are definitely not made to be hidden away in a drawer! The primer potion you get in this one is Eden and the 24/7 glide on eyepencil is in Zero.

Colours from L-R: TOP ROW: Stray Dog, SWF, Midnight Cowboy
                            BOTTOM ROW: Aquarius, Darkhorse, Ecstacy
24/7 Glide on Eyeliner Pencil: Zero

The colours in this palette are gorgeous, and so girly.
There are so many different eye combinations in this palette. I can't wait to start experimenting!

Stray Dog, SWF, Midnight Cowboy, Aquarius, Darkhorse, Ecstasy

Urban Decay shadows are such amazing quality, they're so pigmented and apply so well.
They last ages too, especially with the primer potion (I previously did a review on the primer potion which you can read here).

24/7 Glide on Pencil in Zero €15.50 here

I love getting the mini 24/7 glide on eyeliner pencils in palettes like this as I'd never actually buy the full size! Way too expensive. Especially since I've found an amazing pencil eyeliner already (here), I can't wait to do a comparison on the two!
I love how the 24/7 pencils are so creamy they just glide on with amazing pigmentation. The colours they are available in too are gorgeous.

I cant wait to start doing some looks with this, I'll definitely share them with you!
Have any of you got this palette or the new one? I'd love to know what you think of the new one!
And if anyone knows why they got rid of these ones for the new ones pleeasse let me know, I'm curious!

  3. Those are such beautiful shadow colors! I always think about buying new shadows and then don't bother because they end up sitting unused in a drawer. I might have to pull out my old palettes now and play around!
