Benefit 'They're Real' Mascara

When I heard about this mascara coming out last year I couldnt wait to get my hands on it. I never actually got round to getting it. To be honest I couldnt bear to spend €25 euro on a mascara. But recently I was on the hunt for a new mascara and had the money to spare so thought why not?
And you know what? Im not at all disappointed. I absolutely LOVE this mascara. When its gone, I'll definitely be repurchasing it.

If you buy it now, to celebrate the anniversary of the They're Real launch last year, Benefit are giving away a free mini travel sized tube of They're Real with every full size tube. It would be great for throwing in your purse on a night out if you know you're going to be staying at a friends and you dont want to bring a big bag of makeup. I personally gave mine to my Mam.

The wand is made of different sized rubber and plastic bristles. This allows it to coat the whole lash. It also has a spikey ball on the end to get in at those pesky corner lashes. When you remove the wand from the tube its not dripping in mascara like some brands so you know its not going to be clumpy.
Im not going to bore you with the statistics, all those are written on the packaging and I'm sure you can easily find those on the benefit website. So instead of telling you how great it is, I'll show you.
To apply it, you wiggle the wand horizontally through your lashes in a zig zag motion, then you turn the wand vertical to your lashes and push the spike up through them to seperate and curl. (I didnt quote, but thats more of less what it says on the packaging).
It definitely adds length to your eyelashes. The one thing I would say is it doesn't do much for volume so if you wanted your eyelashes to appear very thick then I'd recommend applying a thin coat of a volumising mascara over the top.
If you want to try the mascara yourself before buying it, If you go to a Benefit counter one of the girls there will apply it for you so you can see for yourself how great it is.

*I'm not be sponsored/paid etc to do this review. I bought the mascara myself. I just really like the product.
