Handmade Soap from Beauty Emporium

*UPDATE: Ive just been speaking to Stephanie from Beauty Emporium and she told me my sample was labelled wrong and it is in fact Black Raspberry & Vanilla. No wonder it didn't smell coconutty haha.

I've always been a fan of Lush bath products so when I saw Beauty Emporium were doing an offer on their own handmade soaps I snapped up the chance to try some! I wanted to try one first before I went and ordered a whole bunch! Each piece (around 125g) costs €3.50. At the time of ordering there was a 15% off handmade soaps coupon code (incl. at the end of the post) and they were also doing free Irish shipping so it ended up costing me just €2.97 for the 125g piece! I ordered it Thursday night and it popped through my letterbox on Monday morning meaning it was sent out Friday. Who doesn't like super fast shipping?!

Now onto the actual soap!..

They have a few different yummy sounding options so it was hard to narrow it down but I ended up choosing 'Strawberry Scrub'. The minute I opened my package I was hit with such a nice smell that it was hard to stop myself ripping it open before taking photos for this post! I got a nice surprise when I opened the package to see a very generous sized sample of their 'Coconut & Almond' soap in there too. Cheers Beauty Emporium! Ill be smelling yummy for ages now!

''All our Handmade Soaps are:
SLS Free (Sodium Laryl Sulphate)
Paraben Free
Not tested on Animals
Preservative Free
12 Month Shelf Life.''

I have to say the packaging is so cute! It took me ages to open it because I was trying to do it carefully without ripping the paper (I know I'm a weirdo). I could smell the soap through the crepe paper!

''A strawberry soap and a scrub all in one! This fruity delight will bring you back to childhood!''

This smells absolutely divine! I love that the seeds at the end double as an exfoliator. Its actually quite a large 'slab'. I'm going to cut mine into 4 slices and then cut each of those slices in 2.

''Coconut & Almond is a soothing tropical scent that will make you drift away!''

I'm not a huge fan of coconut so I was a bit worried when I saw this was my sample but honestly it doesn't have a strong coconut smell. It almost has a bubblegum scent to it. The one thing I would say is don't go by the photos on the website. On the website the photo of the Coconut & Almond is all white but as you can see my sample is also purple. The Strawberry Scrub one is exactly like the photo though so maybe they just changed the look of the Coconut & Almond one. (I prefer it with the purple running through it though).

Anyway the point is I will DEFINITELY be ordering more of these soaps to try! The problem will be deciding which ones to get! I'll end up just getting them all haha.

If YOU want to order some there is a 15% off coupon code that is valid until the end of the week, just type SUDSY15 into the coupon code bar at the checkout.

If you have any questions feels free to leave them below.
Have you tried the beauty emporium handmade soaps? Which is your favourite? Or do you have another favourite handmade soap company? I'd love to try some other handmade soaps too!
