Rimmel Glam Eyes Liquid Eyeliner

I'M IN LOVE.
Yep although I've only known this bad boy a few days, Its safe to say we'll be together for a long time.
We met on Saturday afternoon when I ran into the pharmacy to pick up a liquid liner for a Halloween party Sunday night. My Essence eyeliner pen had run out (I definitely wasn't buying another one.. review here) and I needed another eyeliner pronto. The minute I saw the applicator on the Glam Eyes liner I knew it was love at first sight!! I'm not a fan of thick brushes on eyeliners because my eyes are quite hooded so I don't want my lid to be all eyeliner. As you can see below the brush is super thin!

The small brush makes it really easy to get a thin line and it doesn't fade or come off after a few hours! I did use the Urban Decay Primer Potion underneath it though.
I also used it to do my 'Cat' makeup for Halloween which I've put below just for fun to show you guys :)

I love that the formula isn't thick, personally I don't really like gel liners because of the thickness, it just gets stuck in my eyelashes when I'm putting it on and makes them clumpy.
Anyway, point is, I love this eyeliner and I'll definitely be buying another when it runs out!
It was €6.95 in the pharmacy I bought it from.

Is there any other drugstore liquid eyeliners worth trying? If yes, Let me know!

Halloween Special FX Makeup, Burn/Cut/Wound

Hey guys so I just wanted to share a quick little post showing you something I did tonight while I was bored and messing around.
I just wanted to practice and see how it would turn out because I'd planned to do something like this somewhere on my body (maybe even vampire fang bites on my neck using a similar technique) for Halloween this year.
It didn't turn out as well as I wanted but I know what I need to change/do differently on the night so I'm glad I did this little practice run!

On the actual night I'm definitely going to make the scar tissue thinner around the edges and of course use A ALOT more blood, I just didn't want to waste it tonight because I was going to be taking it off afterwards.
And my god was it difficult to remove! At one point I wasn't even sure if I was ripping off my real skin or the fake skin. My sister was squirming watching me! (she was holding the bag I was throwing all the mess into)
Plus it took me forever to scrub the blood off my hands and arm with a body brush! My arm was stinging for ages after!

If you guys are interested I can do a post on how I did this?
What are you all dressing up as? Or are you even going out to celebrate Halloween?
No matter what you're dressing up as you can always incorporate a wound into the costume!

Christmas Gifts for Her Under €25

So I decided to search the net for some Christmas gift sets for the women in your life, whether it be a sister, cousin, friend or whoever!
I found a few sets online that I think would be the perfect gifts while still keeping costs low because we all know Christmas can be a pricey time especially if you have quite a lot of people to buy for.
The great thing about some of these sets is you can break them up (I'll explain what I mean in a minute after I show you the items.)
P.S I just used euros because I have all the websites set to euros but if you use pounds then all over these are under £20.

Avon Prepare To Party Gift Set

So I picked up this Avon Prepare to Party Gift Set for the bargain price of €12.
I think these little sets would be perfect as Christmas presents for any friend or family member (or for yourself like I did) with an interest in makeup.

So first I'll just talk you through everything that comes in the set.

Primark (Penneys) Beauty Fashion Nails

So while in Penneys the other day with my Aunt I saw these black and pink polka dot false nails for the bargain price of €1.50. My Aunt was actually wearing these nails in the black and white version. They were so cheap that I decided to pick up 2 sets and Ill definitely be going back for more to stock up! I'd never buy a pair of €5 or more false nails because tbh Id just end up losing them on nights out etc and would only get 1 or 2 wears out of them. With these, because they're only €1.50 I don't need to worry about losing them!

Each pack comes with 24 nails and a nail glue, now I would recommend picking up a good nail glue in the pharmacy or wherever as the glue that comes with the nails isn't very good (then again what can you expect for €1.50?). I was going to a party and I didn't have time to go get another nail glue so I just used a lot of the glue that came with the nails, they lasted a few hours (tbh I wasn't really doing much) then 2 of them fell off before we left for a nightclub so I ended up pulling them all off in the car on the way!

These do look black and white in the photo but in person they are black and pink.

As the back of the nails aren't numbered, It is quite hard to sort out the nails to find matching ones for each hand so you wouldn't want to be in a rush to apply them! Other than that they're pretty decent nails for €1.50! I'm definitely going to be stocking up on a few more packs. I'm not too sure what other designs they have, these were the only ones in the Primark in Waterford the day I was there.

If you've seen any other designs let me know below!
Also is there any other 'cheap as chips' false nails you've seen or used?

Barry M Croc Effect Nail Polish

I for one was obsessed with the crackle nail polish trend. I think I probably killed it with how much I wore it!
When I saw Barry M were coming out with some new nail effects polishes I was too excited for my own good.
The Croc Effect polishes come in two shades, a black and a reddish colour.

I love doing the leopard print designs on my nails so to be able to do a croc print using one sweep of a polish is aamaaazzinggg. If you want to see the polish in action you can search for it on google images (I didn't want to steal someone else's photos).

According to the Barry M website its as simple as:

''Apply a base colour, after a few minutes when the nail paint is still a bit tacky apply a coat of Croc Nail Effects. Watch the amazing effect appear in a few minutes. The effect takes a bit longer to appear than the crackle but it is worth it!''

So the application seems to be a little different to the Crackle polishes in that you don't wait for the base colour to dry but I guess at least it takes some time off  the application, that's always a bonus!
 These polishes retail for £3.99.

I'm definitely going to be picking up BOTH of these colours to try. I love painting my nails and trying different designs so you'll definitely be seeing a few NOTD posts featuring these polishes very soon!

Pamper Sunday #1

So tonight I thought I'd do a bit of a pampering sesh and share it with you guys.
All this only took me about 30 minutes to do so there's no excuses for not having a little pampering time for yourself!
So lets get straight into it..

*SHOE PORN* TOP 10 'THEY ARE SO COOL' Heels under £50

Ok so I wasn't sure what exactly to call this post. The shoes here are the ones that I found to be quite unique and if I saw them in a shop or on someone I'd say 'THEY ARE SO COOL' so I found it only fit to call it as it is. I decided to keep the limit to £50 cos lets face it, who likes paying more than £50 for a pair of heels?
I scoured the net and the top 2 websites where I found the best 'unique' shoes were Boohoo.com and MissGuided.com.
So in no particular order.. drum roll please..

The Kardashian Kollection to Hit the UK and Ireland

After a successful year in business the Kardashian Kollection is to be launched in Dorothy Perkins in selected stores throughout the UK and Ireland. Now I originally heard just the UK but according to RTE its to launch in Ireland too! YAAAY.

Collection 2000 Cream Puff Moisturising Lip Cream in 'Cotton Candy'

While I was in Superdrug finally picking up the Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer I decided to have a little browse of the other Collection 2000 (or Collection as its now called) products when these beauties caught my eye.
After covering my hand in swatches and a lot of humming and ha-ing over which colour to choose, I finally settled on Cotton Candy. Now, I am OBSESSED. I don't think there's any other products like these on the market at the moment (none that I've seen or heard of anyway.)
