A while ago I reviewed my very first Revlon Lip Butter, In that post I mentioned I wanted to try some of the other colours, someone in the comments mentioned Wild Watermelon. I'd been meaning to pick it up so when my friend gave me a few beauty related goodies for my birthday I was delighted to see the Revlon Lip Butter in Wild Watermelon* was included.

I am OBSESSED. Seriously oh my freakin god I love these things!

I have such dry lips so a lot of lipsticks end up going flaky looking on me.

My God it feels like forever since I've done a beauty review!

Today, I'll be sharing this Cocoa Butter and Beeswax lipbalm* by the brand The Bakewell Soap Company. 

As some of you may know I constantly suffer with dry chapped lips (I don't know what it is about me) so I was excited to try a new lipbalm. What I love about this one is that its completely handmade and natural.

Dainty Doll Lipstick in Baby Love (006)

In a previous post I mentioned that CaraPharmacy.com had a huge sale including loads of Dainty Doll products. One of the items I got was this lipstick. I don't have a proper nude lipstick so I decided to try the shade 'Baby Love' (anyone else think of that Nicole Sherzinger song????). Plus it was only €1.50! Bargain!

American Flag Makeup Look ft Violent Lips

Yesterday, you may have seen the guest post I posted from the lovely Sammie from LittleBlondeLife. On the same day, she posted a guest post from me on her blog.

So a few days ago, I won a set of Violent Lips transfers from the company on twitter. I chose the  American flag. I decided to try and do a makeup look featuring these transfers.

Also I've been OBSESSED with Lana Del Reys song National Anthem lately so I just had to do this makeup look! Seriously I've listened to it over 100 times, I've also tweeted the lyrics over and over again. I have a problem I know..
Each violent lips comes with 3 transfers in a pack.

To use, you just place them against your lips, and trim to fit. They're very large so they fit all lips sizes. You then just remove the plastic, place it on your lips and press against the paper back using wet cotton. Similar to how you'd apply those tattoos you'd get as a child! 
They are quite tricky to apply so mine were a bit of a mess.. oops. I was home alone when I was doing these, so I was absolutely TERRIFIED someone would knock the door and I'd have to answer like this! 

Because my lips were a bit.. BAM! I wanted to keep my eyes simple, I just did a simple cat liner flick on top and then used a white, red and blue shadow on the bottom lash line. I do wish I'd gone a bit crazier on the eyes but 3 transfers came in the pack so I might try this makeup again, except this time go really crazy on the eye shadow! I might try to recreate the look I showed in the first photo!
I think this would be fun for something like Halloween/fancy dress or 4th of July if you live in the US. I know here in Ireland, on St Patricks Day, people tend to go a bit crazy and draw Irish flags on their faces! 

Oh and if you're interested in having a look at the violent lips. You can go to their website, they have soooooo many differrent transfers, animal prints, all kinds of country flags, glitter transfers and so many more! Below is just a card that came in my pack showing a few different transfers available. They supposedly last up to 8 hours, but I can't tell you if thats true as I took it off immediately after taking photos. It did start to crack after a few minutes though.

I've had my eyes on these for ages now.

I didn't fancy paying €7.45.

My local chemist was doing a buy one get one half price across all cosmetics and while I was picking up a bronzer I decided to grab one of these too.

I think there were 4 shades in my chemist and I chose Perpetual Plum as it was a lovely pink shade. 

MAC Satin Lipstick 'Rebel' Swatches & Review

Whenever I saw anyone asking for MAC lipstick recommendations Angel and Rebel were always mentioned A LOT. Making them one of my top wish list products. Luckily for me, I managed to score Angel in a blog sale not long ago for around €12 including shipping which is a pretty amazing deal considering it was barely used! 

When I received my box of goodies from a giveaway I won (I know regular readers are probably sick to death of hearing me go on about it in so many posts! SORRY. If you haven't seen my unboxing and want to see what other goodies I got you see them here) and saw this lipstick in it I let out a scream 'YES!' and did a little happy dance while my Dad looked at me like I was crazy..

Anyway its quickly become one of my favourite lipsticks and I love wearing it to brighten up a dull all black outfit.

Blistex Relief Cream for Sore Dry Chapped Lips

I suffer with the most horrendously dry chapped lips in winter. 

I have a habit of biting and picking at the dry bits (i know ew) which causes my lips to bleed. Then a scab of dry skin will grow over it which I will proceed to pick again. Its a vicious circle. I don't even know I'm doing it sometimes.

I've used Blistex Relief Cream before but had run out and decided to pick it up again..

Weirdly enough I don't actually own a good quality red lipstick (I had one of those crappy ones you get in gift sets when you're a young teenager that I threw out a few months ago) so I was so excited to actually get this!

While I was in Superdrug finally picking up the Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer I decided to have a little browse of the other Collection 2000 (or Collection as its now called) products when these beauties caught my eye. 

After covering my hand in swatches and a lot of humming and ha-ing over which colour to choose, I finally settled on Cotton Candy. Now, I am OBSESSED. I don't think there's any other products like these on the market at the moment (none that I've seen or heard of anyway.)

Ready To Wear New York Lipgloss - 'Bare Pink' Review

I AM IN LOVE.
This is quite possibly the most amazing lipgloss I've ever had. Its not sticky, thick, gloopy or greasy. It feels moisturising on my lips and I dont get that dry lips feeling I get after it wears off like other lipglosses I've used.

'Bare Pink' is a very natural pink colour which I think would be perfect over any pink lipstick that you want to tone down a little (I do this a lot with some of my overly pink lipsticks).
Ive taken a quick swatch photo of it below. Excuse the crap quality, it was dark outside when I took the photo so I had to use the flash. I would have taken a photo of it on but I cut the side of my lip and I've got a scab and I really didnt want to take a photo of my gross scar, you'll have to put up with my arm for now!

The one thing I'm not a huge fan of is the packaging. I mean its decent enough but I do think it looks a little bit cheap (Im not sure of the actual price but I'll explain about that in a minute). On the back of mine the information is a little crooked and I'm dying to straighten it! Im a bit anal about things like that haha.

Other than the packaging I really dont see any other flaws with it at the moment and I'd definitely like to buy some more BUT I have  no clue where to buy them? Ive googled it and so on but the only place I could find them was eBay. Hence the reason why I've no clue how much they normally cost. (I was personally sent mine from a competition.) If anyone has seen them anywhere else or know where they are sold I'd really appreciate it if you could comment and let me know.
