Outfits to Drool Over - VIP Style Awards 2017

The ladies (and men) at this years VIP Style Awards were dressed to impress! Heres a round up of my favourite looks!

Pippa (O Connor) was by far my most favourite outfit of the night, the simplicity of the monochrome colours, the style, how it fits. AHHH OBSESSED. I even went as far as to look up the dress for an awards show I have at the end of the month (The Wexford Business Awards FYI). 

And sure how could you not look at Brian, THE BLAZER. Fab!

Lisa Cannon was another absolutely stunning monochrome look. The dress fits her curves beautifully and the slit adds a little sexiness to the sophisticated look.

Alannah Beirne took risks and tethered on the edge of being overly sexual but my god she looks amazing!

Another red number from Jo Archbold that I just thought accentuated her figure fabulously!

This two piece is a little more out of what I'd usually like style wise but I'm actually loving it, then again, Tara (O Farrell) could wear a black bin bag and I'd be dying over it!

No words Rosie (Connolly), UNREAL

I've been following Doireann (Garrihy) on snapchat for a while now and her style for events is always ON POINT, her award for Most Stylish Influencer was well deserved. 

Only Roz (Purcell) would make a high neck, long sleeve, full length black gown look stylist AF. 

THE EYES.

Im torn on Sinead Desmond's dress, I adore the bottom half but felt the top half would have really set it off if there were more flowers covering the sheer top. 

I have to say all of the Xpose ladies looked absolutely beautiful.

Embracing New Trends - Gingham

Ok, so I'm not really one for following new fashion trends as tbh - I'm probably going to be shot for this - a lot of the time I find them to be actually extremely ugly. Yes I said it. Now of course this is only MY opinion and I know a lot of people love certain trends that come out. I wish I did, but the majority of the time I hate them. 

For instance the gingham trend, now don't get me wrong I actually do love the pattern but I find that a lot of the time the actual clothing the pattern comes on is horrendous, in particular the shape and the fit. Some of them are just not flattering on anyone (again my opinion). I don't find them to be suitable for every day wear. So I decided to scout out some more wearable clothing that still fall in line with this trend. 

New Look is always the site I go to when purchasing clothing that is currently 'in' and that may not be in in a few months as it isn't too expensive and doesn't really matter if you only get a few wears out of it!

So with less of the blabbering here are my favourites!

Outfit Of The Day (OOTD)

Sunday is basically the only day during the week that I actually wear normal clothes. The rest of the week Im in uniform for work. I didn't realise when I bought this top that the slits on the arms go ALLLLL the way from the shoulder to the wrist. Which does not make for a flattering look when your elbow and all your arm pop out!! Even my boyfriend told me to keep my jacket on hahahaha. Whoever designed this top should be shot. I'm going to put a stitch or two down the slits at the elbow to keep them closed so I can keep wearing it without rocking some weird batwings. Its a shame because its such a lovely blouse, I'm loving tie front tops this season they pair perfectly with mid-high waisted jeans!

NEW YEARS EVE OUTFIT

         

This is a bit of a late post sorry! This is basically what I wore for New Years Eve. I cannot explain how much I love this dress. It's from missguided and was €41 but with a discount code I ended up paying €38. It's a gorgeous dark green colour (a colour which before this green was non existent in my wardrobe). I hope you all had a good New Year's Eve and can't wait for the rest of this year!

Just a quick outfit post of what I wore St Stephens night! Dress is from Penneys about a year ago! Sorry for the short post I'm hungover (again) while writing this!

I'm enjoying the Christmas period at the minute so it'll be outfit posts for the next week, Normal posts will resume in the new year!

OOTD feat OMGFashion & New Look

      

     

hellooo strangers,

I know, I know I haven't done a post in yonks! But rest assured I've gotten my arse in gear and I'm back in business!

I wore this outfit last night, me and a friend went for a Chinese (all you can eat.. A tight skirt was not my best idea!) and then met up with another friend for drinks! It was a surprisingly good night for a Sunday but I'm paying for it today! 

My skirt is a black and gold sequin skirt* from omgfashion. I loooovee this skirt! I got quite a few compliments on it too! The one thing I wish I could change is that I wish it was a little bit longer so I could wear it higher up on my waist without showing my bum. Other than that I love it! I paired it with a plain black tee from good oul Penneys, a pair of black tights and my New Look gold buckle wedges. I threw a black blazer on top because it was FREEEZZINN'. The only jewellery I wore was a few bracelets from Penneys and my black inverted triangle necklace from eBay. 

I apologise if the layout of this post is a bit crap, I'm posting it from the Blogger app on my phone and we all know how crap that app is!

Also sorry the photos are crap I'm still trying to find a good place to take outfit photos!

A/W '13 Fashion Wishlist

Of course I had to include a heap of sweaters!

A/W is not the same without a onesie. Yes you look like a giant baby but who cares. They're fun. I really want this Stitch one! The eBay seller has tons of different animal type ones!

I am in love with these Nike runners! Of course I would pick the pink ones!

I've actually already bought the new look black wedges but decided to include them anyway because I love them so much!

I've always loved the look of these cuffs and only recently bought my first from eBay, now I'm lusting after this one!

And finally I had to include a scarf, A/W in Ireland is not complete without a scarf! I love the colour of this one from Boohoo.

I'm sure there are plenty more items I'd like for autumn/winter but these are the items I've saved to my WantWorthy account (seriously if you haven't tried this website its amazing).

Wantworthy is perfect for saving any items you spot on a website to go back and get later. Its really easy, you make an account, install the button on your toolbar (it tells you how to do this) then everytime you click on an item on a shopping site that you want, you simply press the WANT button on your toolbar and it saves the item to your wantworth account. When you log in the photos of all the items you want comes up and you can click on them to take you to the exact website page to buy them! Easy.

OOTD - Aztec Tea Dress

 Being a girly girl, I love dressing cute and girly and what's more girly than a tea dress?!

This dress from FDAvenue* has been a godsend during the hot weather. I don't actually own many 'day' dresses. My friend and I were going shopping and being paranoid about my thighs I didn't really want to wear shorts as I'm constantly pulling them down to avoid the dreaded 'ass cheeks hanging out' fiasco that seems to be popular with the young wans (young girls FYI) these days.

I did wear a pair of my young cousins high waisted black shorts (they're like the knicker shorts but her Mam made her buy them in a size 14 - shes an 8- so they'd be an appropriate size on her & wouldn't show her ass hahaha) underneath the dress as I'm paranoid about it blowing up in the wind.

I had a lovely day catching up with my friend and shopping. I got a few nice bits which I'll be showing in future OOTD posts, I might do a haul as they were actually all quite the bargain on sale!

OOTD: We'll Be Burning Up Like Neon Lights

Another fashion post! Jeez remember when I would only post one every few months?!

I hate cutting my friend out of the photos but I wasn't sure if she'd be comfortable with her photo plastered on the internet to complete strangers!

I never took a photo of the back on but I did take one for the haul so here it is:

The knot falls perfectly over a bra strap so you can get away with wearing a nude one rather than a clear strap one.

At first I didn't like the texture of the dress, It reminded me of those waffle texture makeup/toiletry bags.

But I actually really like it now! I think the colour goes well with darker hair.

A Haul Because I'm A Shop-a-holic ft Penneys & New Look

Yes, I know, I've been away A LOT lately. 

The main reason is I've felt so guilty for not posting which resulted in me not posting AT ALL and burying my head in the sand. ITS A VISCIOUS CIRCLE.

But, I've missed you guys. So, I've come up with a new blogging schedule to take a bit of the pressure off of me, and also to give you all a bit of regularity so you know exactly when to expect a post.

I've decided to post every Monday. I would choose Sunday but lets face it if I go out after work on a Saturday night, we all know I'll be dying of a hangover the  next day and the last thing I'll want to do is stare at a computer screen. Mondays work out well also as the place I work is not open on Mondays. 

Now, onto the fun stuff. I don't know about you but I love hauls. I think its the noseyness in me. I love seeing what other people have bought. I'll see something I like but would never have known about without them showing it so I can keep an eye out for it next time in that particular shop.

The first item I got was this neon yellow dress in New Look. This was €25. I was in the dressing room trying stuff on and my Mam actually brought this into me. I wasn't gone on it on the hanger. I'm not a fan of the texture but its lovely on. Its a very thick heavy material. I think the colour goes well with my hair and will look amazing with a tan! It was the detail on the back that sold me. Its got one of those twists at the back.

OOTN - Crop It Like It's Hot

I know this is my 2nd OOTD/OOTN in a row but WHATEVER.

I am OBSESSED with this crop top, its the perfect length and is just proper gorgeous. I'm very excited for the launch of the Womens Wear section on TheHut.com. It launched on the 20th of May and they have some seriously gorgeous clothes. In fact, I'm off to have a browse now!

I got so many compliments on this outfit that I don't care if its a fashion sin I'll definitely be wearing it again!

OOTD - Criss Cross

First off, I want to apologise SO MUCH for the ridiculous lack of posts lately. I'm not going to make any excuses.

I wore this when I went out for the day with a 'friend' *wink wink*, I wanted something I'd be comfortable in and this top and jeans were it! I just threw on a pair of black ballet pumps and brought my black leather jacket. I really need to start taking proper OOTD photos with my camera.

Anchor Charm Bracelet

Helloooo there, 

I apologise for the lack of posts, I'm still settling into work and everythings a bit hectic at the minute.

I was contacted by Jenni from YoursCharmingly to see if I wanted to pick out a bracelet or necklace from her website. Me being a jewellery fanatic jumped at the chance and chose this Anchor Bracelet*.

Just a quick outfit of the night seeing as I rarely actually do these!

I actually wasn't even looking forward to going out, but it ended up being one of the best nights out in a long time! 

I love this lace dress from Penneys. I got it a while ago so I doubt its still in shops, but on the off chance you do happen to get it, I'd recommend getting a size smaller as these are quite large fitting.

I apologise in advance for the absolutely hideous photo, the moody face on me!

I had completely forgotten to take a photo of this outfit and was about to run out to the door to go to town with one of my friends for lunch and so I had to take it as quickly as I could in the kitchen. I wasn't prepared for the camera timer hahaha. I couldn't even get a full length. Basically I was just wearing my black wedge boots that I wear in almost all of my OOTD posts BECAUSE I'M OBSESSED WITH THEM. 

I was so sad when I had to put a jacket on and basically cover up this top, I love it so much, damn you Irish weather. I can't wait until summer when I can wear it without a jacket with a bandeau top underneath.

Hey guys so I don't know about you but when I'm bored, I do some online window shopping on my favourite clothing websites. 

I was browsing the DaisyStreet.co.uk website and found these 3 items that I reaally want. Particularly the dress. I've been going on about how much I love this dress for the last few days. 

I would get it but I really just don't have the money right now. Fingers crossed they still have it in the next few weeks (also cross your fingers I come into some cha ching).

Although if some rich man out there wants to treat me I wouldn't be opposed ;)... *this is where you all stare blankly* yeah I don't think that will happen either.

I know I've only recently done a wishlist, although the other one was a giveaway entry, but I think they're fun and I personally love seeing what other people are lusting after.

eBay Jewellery Haul

Yes Im back with yet ANOTHER eBay jewellery haul.

I picked up a few more bits so I thought I'd share them as I thought they were nice pieces for the price!

So the first item I picked up, I had actually seen on another jewellery website and I wanted it so much but it was a lot more expensive than on eBay. I just happened to spot it while browsing eBay and had to get it!

Its available in 3 colours, this 'rose red', 'lake blue' and orange. 

I definitely want to get the lake blue as well!

I also picked up the above bracelet in silver as I couldn't choose between the two. I bought them from different sellers as the one I bought the gold from didn't have the silver in stock. Unfortunately the silver came broken. I think the glue just wasn't very strong or something. I've contacted the seller and they've said they would refund my money but who knows if they actually will.

hey guys so I wanted to share my favourite items from the Chi Chi website (link here).

I think the freira would look good with my dark hair, and everyone needs a red dress!

I love the design on this jacinta dress, although I'd probably tuck in the extra strap to change it up a little. 

I looovee the lace design on the top of this pabla dress. I think its such a pretty feminine girly dress! 

I decided to change it up and choose an evening dress also! I love the colour of this yesenia dress! It would be gorgeous for a more formal event!
